As a member of Ceosister.net we are very interested in your observations and opinions. We also have an expectation that our sister members will take the initiative to help one another.
Throughout the site you will see the term "Pay It Forward". If you are not familiar with the term it refers to the assistance or favors we have received from either friends, colleagues or family and our response of thanks, I'll pay you back. Well, instead of worrying about paying someone back "Pay the favor Forward, hence "Pay It Forward". If you are fortunate to have others who have rescued you, paid a bill for you, given you encouragement, advice whatever the courtesy then take the opportunity to do the same for someone else, especially a woman entrepreneur.
Some of you are already in the habit of Paying It Forward. There are stories of women paying the grocery bill of the family behind them in the grocery line, paying the 10 cars behind them at the toll booth, sending $100 to a struggling global entrepreneur...many other incidents too numerous to mention. Please, especially given the economic downturn and natural disasters think about Paying It Forward and let us know of those instances so we can honor our sisters who have been generous enought to Pay It Forward. We will highlight them and their business on the site. In the meantime, your contributions to the agencies featured on our site will not only assist others in their time of crisis but will contribute to our goal of providing micro financing to our members this fall.
